Curriculum Vitae

Current Research

Fish assemblage dynamics using agent-based models. Our goal is the development of a flexible software that simulates ecologically realistic scenarios, capable of producing quantifiable insights for  community structure, composition, species traits and population dynamics in response to potential environmental changes. I am currently responsible for deploying new simulation steps, expanding and optimizing existing codes, checking for errors and bugs, and providing evaluation tools for data analysis of the simulation outputs.

I see myself as an ecologist, who happens to enjoy computers and modeling. It is true that I have a stronger background in Statistics, but I will never stop learning how nature works, which I find actually amazing. I am passionate about what I do and my research interests include Computational and Applied Statistics (mainly statistical modeling by GLMMs, VGLMs and extensions) focused on Ecological Indicators, Data Analysis and Simulation.
